Private by design
Record locally. Share deliberately.
Capture a browser tab, app window, or desktop. Preview the result and save it as WebM—without uploading the recording.
Recorder
Your browser will ask what you want to share. Screen Record never sees anything you don’t choose.
Most mobile browser configurations do not expose screen capture to web pages. If an Android Chrome build or experimental flag exposes getDisplayMedia(), this recorder enables itself automatically; otherwise, open this page in current Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on a desktop computer.
The original 2017 two-device Android relay depended on a retired PeerJS server and obsolete capture flags. This version fails honestly instead of pretending that connection still works.
Select a source, then choose whether to share audio in your browser’s permission panel.

Your browser shows a sharing indicator and lets you stop sharing at any time.
Recordings use the best WebM codec your browser exposes. Most modern players and editors support it.
